The JCB G625RS 625 kVA diesel generator set is a heavy-duty rental generator designed to provide reliable, flexible, and continuous electrical power for construction sites, infrastructure projects, temporary power installations, events, industrial applications, and rental operations. With a prime rating of 625 kVA (500 kW), the G625RS is engineered for applications requiring substantial mobile power and rapid deployment.

The G625RS forms part of JCB's RS Rental Series, which is specifically designed for demanding rental and mobile-power applications. The generator is built with a ruggedised canopy and can be supplied in a trailer-mounted configuration for rapid transportation between sites. JCB highlights the RS range's durable construction, simple operation, service accessibility, and suitability for repeated deployment in demanding working environments.

The generator provides 625 kVA / 500 kW prime power at 60 Hz and is available in a three-phase 480/277 V configuration. It operates at 1800 rpm with a 0.8 power factor. A 208/120 V three-phase configuration is also documented, while a separate 240 V single-phase configuration provides up to 300 kW.

The G625RS incorporates SCR aftertreatment to meet Tier 4 Final emissions requirements. The system uses diesel fuel meeting the specified EN590/BS2869 requirements and has a large 593 US-gallon (approximately 2,246-litre) fuel tank, providing approximately 24.5 hours of fuel autonomy under the specified operating conditions. A 42.3 US-gallon DEF tank is provided for the emissions system.

The rental-focused design includes a robust enclosure, trailer-mounting capability, Camlock power connections, lifting provisions, and practical service access.
