The Guascor G 56HM is a heavy-duty, 16-cylinder V engine specifically engineered for continuous-duty power generation and CHP (Combined Heat & Power) applications using natural gas, biogas, or other gaseous fuels. With a displacement of 56 L, it is capable of operating at 1,200, 1,500, or 1,800 rpm. At 1,500 rpm, it delivers mechanical power of approximately 1,373 kWb (electrical output ~1,337 kWe), while at 1,800 rpm, it provides around 1,350 kWb (≈1,308 kWe). Based on these outputs, it produces torque in the range of 8,700–10,700 Nm. The engine uses a Miller-cycle, turbocharged design with charge-air cooling to optimize efficiency and performance, and THC emissions meeting ISO 8178 E2, effectively aligning with IMO Tier II standards. With a displacement of 86 L and an operating speed of 1,500 rpm (50 Hz), it delivers an impressive 2,065 kWb of mechanical power (≈ 2,013 kWe electrical output). The engine achieves top-tier performance with mechanical efficiency around 46.9% and electrical efficiency of 45.7%, resulting in outstanding overall efficiency of approximately 92.6%. Torque output is estimated at 13,200 NM. Aligning with IMO Tier II-equivalent standards.

The Guascor 100EM is a robust, 12-cylinder, electronically carbureted gas engine designed for utility-scale continuous power generation and cogeneration applications. With a displacement in the 2 MW class, it delivers 2,065 kWb (mechanical power) at 60 Hz/1,800 rpm, making it the only direct-drive option available for 60 Hz grids, while the 86EM model provides the same output at 50 Hz. Emissions are tightly controlled, with NOₓ levels as low as 200–500 mg/Nm³, effectively meeting IMO Tier II/III and ISO 8178 emission standards for marine and stationary applications. the 100EM juggles power density, fuel flexibility (including hydrogen blending), and environmental compliance, making it ideal for large-scale CHP, utility backup, and grid-support solutions.
